EL ED BLOG #7

Ta Da

I can't believe that the semester is almost over. I am grateful for the resources I have learned in this class. I'm so excited to get into the classrooms and teach. I can't wait till the moment where I can use technology and creativity into my lessons! I know I am going to be an excellent teacher and I feel even more confident to put technology into my teaching. Thank you for teaching our class.

EL ED BLOG # 6

I'm unsure of what to do now about this Internet awareness assignment? I will try to keep figuring it out but my group didn't show up today. I am not sure if I am the only person unsure of what to do today in class. It's been a busy week but I've been sick this week. I feel like today is just a day to crash before my sickness turns into a fever and knocks me out for the rest of the semester. I write this because its challenging to juggle school and sickness. I wonder how a teacher is able to do both? I can't imagine that a teacher can. Does the teacher have enough freedom to call in sick or are they responsible for the substitute?

EL ED BLOG #5

I appreciated the comment made on my last blog. I am well aware that there are diverse learners. In fact its very important to me to learn how to be available for all types of learners. I have observed in this class that some people need to copy note for note, others like myself just want to dive into the programs and learn by trial and error. When I was 12 years old my parents took me to a class in California where we all learned Microsoft Office. I fell in love with powerpoint. I spent many hours creating movie like powerpoints. My biggest powerpoint was fifty slides long. Its been a long time since I have created anything elaborate. In a way I feel like I am picking up an old habit. With the new updated powerpoint I will have to spend a little time getting familiar again.
