Today we didn't have Dr. Waters in class. We worked on our Digital Stories, however. It was a good week to stay busy creating our digital story. My digital story is with my field partner Merissa. It is a story on the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and how they form three languages. The Coptic language was important because it helped us translate ancient texts.
This will help me begin to prepare for bigger assignments through the professional teaching program. I am excited about this because teachers are so easily impressed with technology. In the public eye only a professional can create a technology program. Its almost like learning magic to them. When a powerful technological presentation is created it makes me look smart :)
My presentation will consist of an incredible opening. The opening will be photos of the Egyptian landscape. It will be beautiful photographs of the Ancient buildings that make Egypt phenomenal and so mysterious. I want to create this story to get the students interested in how we have learned so much about this ancient culture. I look forward to getting the students fascinated with the mysteries.
