I am learning how to create my own website. Its a great function that google has given to the public. It will be a great resource to use one day for my classrooms. I am also beginning to learn about Digital Media Boards. I have never used them before. It feels like I'm learning a new program but not to much new.
I really like the website I created. I feel like this is helping me to be a better student. Its a challenge yet simple to create. I really enjoy how it allows me to be well rounded and to learn new things. I also love google documents and how it helps us as students get a better experience of communication. It really promotes communication and I really like that. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn new skills as a student.
As a teacher I have one concern with using this website as a community outreach. There are school districts and areas that are poor. I don't think that every parent is going to have the opportunity to get online on a computer and follow up on their child. A poorer family will still need paper handouts. On the bright side of things, its great to have the parents able to see what the students are in need of homework and school work wise. This really puts some awesome organization into everything.
